ASTM A217 Grade WC9 is a standard specification for cast low-alloy steel used primarily for pressure-containing parts in high-temperature, highly corrosive, and high-pressure services. The WC9 alloy is defined by its characteristic 2.25% Chromium and 1% Molybdenum content, which provides exceptional strength and creep resistance.
